+1 on that, they usually are around those numbers in RWHP, chevy isn't the only company that underrated their vehicles

R U bein cereal? How do you figure? You know that 390 is closer to rwhp than bhp.
On the V10 thing it's possible I've seen it done, but there is about 3 inches to the radiator core and the shock towers had to be banged in, and the firewall pushed back.

yep, im gonna take the heads over to this machine shop down the road and have them cleaned up a good bit, i'll use the stock crank, eagle rods and je pistons with a big lumpy cam to boot
