Throw Out Bearing?

Throw Out Bearing?
I have this ford racing 11" clutch with only about 15,000 miles on it. When I push the clutch in at idle only, it started making this constant squeeking sound and goes away immediately once I let off of the pedal. Is this definately the throw out bearing? Is there any fix besides taking the transmission out and changing the bearing?

RE: Throw Out Bearing?
My friends gt started to make a squeeking sound when he pushes the clitch in. He had 3 people that know a bit about cars look at it and they all said it sounds like the throw out bearing. Sounds to me like my friend and you have the same problem - need a new throw out bearing.

Definitely not your TOB. That's when the clutch is out.
Logic tells me it's something to do with either the clutch itself, or the flywheel. I'm assuming that when you engage the clutch, and it squeeks, that it must have something to do with the actual clutch (or it could be the pilot bearing, but I have no clue what it's actual function is). Of course this is obviously just mere speculation on my part, as I'm just taking an educated guess at it. I could be wrong.
Also for future reference, if it is indeed your pilot bearing, you should always replace that when you go in and replace the clutch. That's what my mustang shop told me. He made a damn good point. Being that they are only $15, you're better off replacing it, rather than not and finding out you have an issue after the tranny is all together again.
