Default Antenna removal

Is there an easy way to remove an antenna? I doubt I'm the only one who thinks it distracts from the shape of the car a little. I just think it would look a little cleaner without an antenna and I never listen to the radio anyway.

Well I know that but is there any way to make the thing it screws into look a little more hidden away which wouldn't require me to fill/paint the hole?

My guess is no, if you really want it gone that bad then just take it out, fill and paint. OR go to http://www.americanmuscle.com and get a shorty antenna and call it a day.

You will find that there are4 holes, one larger one for the antenna lead and three smaller holes for the mounting screws. It will definitely be "fill-and-paint" time to make it look decent...

The Cobra R didn't come with an antenna. They had a black cap that sat where our antenna does. If you could find a place that carries those it might work. It will still have something there, but not an antenna.

I don't think that I would fill and paint the spot for the antenna. What would the perspective buyers think when they go to look at your car?

I personally like the look of a shorty antenna.
