those benz's run mid 12's stock. with the funding you have, you should be able to build an easy 12-second car. not only are the mods important, but learning how to drive it with all that horsepower. lots of practice will be needed, but you have a year so its all good! so when you win his benz, are you gonna keep it and pay out-the-*** insurance on it, or sell it and buy something else?

how do you think that the frame and axles of a mustang GT will support 750 HP??????

this car was not ment to b at almost 800 hp my friend
Lol I was just about to post that, but then I landed on this. Yeah, with that kinda hp, you'll need a whole new rear, tranny, and axles. Get longer control arms too, annnnnnd, get a 6 spd tranny when u get a new one.

I agree with either the KB 2.2 blowzilla kit (im savin for it right now), or you can look into a TT setup. Hell, sell your stang, buy a cobra, mod that.

That'd be too easy; he could beat the Benz with just bolt ons.

ok with 15k you have a wide range of options. In MY opinion you should get a Kenne Bell 2.2 SC (+220 HP), 4:10 gears, full intake, bassani headers + x-pipe, diablo chip, kb pulleys, etc......you'll be around 600HP

Hope you got a good bottom end.
^^^^^ DI-TTO Without the interals to support the added HP you may as well not spend the money on the TT...the engine will just get blown apart.

I definitely plan on selling it. $114,000 car should sell for at least $80,000. Plus I can barely afford the insurance for the GT, I don't want to think about a CL 55 AMG!. Also, he does know about the $15,000 but he say's that I can't buy real hp. I still don't know what that means, or either he dosen't know what he's talking about. He actually says the price of my car plus only $15,000 isn't even going to compare to his 116G baby. He didn't even know his car was supercharged, and to top it all off he didn't even know what a supercharger was! He's a cool guy he just isn't car wise. I just don't think it will be that hard. Also I may just settle for enough power to beat him, maybe 480-520 rwhp 750 is a little to much, I would basically have to rebuild the entire car over and add a roll cage. Considering this is my daily driver and my budget I don't think I'm ready for 750hp. But just post a pic of your car so if I see you on the street I know not to f with you. LOL

Well suspension and frame work was implied. No one just throws that much HP through a stock frame and suspension. DUH! That car would twist like a pretzel. Im too lazy to type out every little nut and bolt that you will need to finish the job. Not only that but if you are pushing 750HP+++, you are gonna be running a HELL of a lot faster than a 12 sec 1/4. Im looking to hit the 9's next year on the juice. WITH HELLA FRAME WORK!!

get a 2.2...install that, forge out all the internals, get nos 75-100 shot. theirs 650-700 hp easy.

Actually, instead of doing the forged internals, drop your engine, get a new one (2003-2004 cobra), sell yours (1000-1500) for a new tranny (6 spd). Next get a new rear end, new axles (sell yours...obviously). The cobra motor responds better to mods because of the increase flow of air (DOHC). That would be wise to get, and you dont have to get nailed in the kiester by labor prices of shops installing aftermarket pistons, heads, etc--because the Cobra is already forged and ready to roll!

With the cobra engine, get the 2.2 blowzilla from KB. Have that installed (or do it yourself)...the kit comes with EVERYTHING. New igniter, boost a pump, fuel injectors, etc. (IT MIGHT NOT COME WITH FUEL RAILS...not sure). Get a tuner (predator probably). Get some 3.73's (because 4.11's would be way too much for 650 hp, and you wouldn't hook till like 3rd gear). And after all that, including tranny and rear/axle. You should be at about 15g. That also includes you selling your current engine and all the stuff with it. You could always do nos if you wanted...even a 75 shot is only about 600 bucks shipped (ebay). After all this, drive it a bit, get the hang of it. Now...for the last thing! Once your done with all this, go clean out your garage so you have room for your new benz

and of course, once you sell that beast...save 75,000 for a new cobra. I realize it will only be like 40k. but the other 35 will be nice for mods

then, pay off all your debts, and finally, get a car lift, and ALL THAT JAZZ for a garage; now you can do this all yourself!
