Default Check engine light?? help!!

I recentally installed a o/r x pipe on my 03 mustang. A day after i put the exhasut on my check engine light came on sthrowing the code P0174 - which is running lean on bank 2. A couple days later i realized i forgot to put this flanged piece in the x pipe so there was a leak from the drivers side header to the x pipe. I Fixed the issue but my check engine lihgt is still throwing the code ( running lean bank 2). ANY sugestions??? i need help. I was gouing to bring the car for serive to a ford dealer but would they say anything about me having a off road x pipe?? And also would they charge me alot for a little fix?? LET Me Know!!

Pull your negative battery cable for about 10 minutes to clear the KAM (Keep Alive Memory) that the ECU has. This should fix your problem.

Once you throw a CEL, it wont clear itself...

You either have to "a" do what that guy said, or "b" go to autozone and have them clear it

But becasue i forgot to put a part on tthe exuast it caused it to leak so badly which would most likely cause thios code to be thrown. Also, if i clear this code with my tuner, and say something in the future happens to the car like a minor problem would the CEL go on again. ???

Just clear it with your tuner, and if it comes back up, then worry more about it. The odds are that was the reason it threw the code.

Yes, if you clear the code, others will come up in the future, including the same one if you have a problem.

well are you going to erase the code from memory or are you just going to clear it out? obviously if you erase it from the memory, then it wont come back.....id clear it....and with your tuner you may not be able to erase it from the memory
