I've read through all the ticking noise threads but theres no definate answer to my problem, and I simply can't afford to be wrong.

I started getting a ticking noise that sounds like its coming from infront of the shifter, from out of the center console in the dash. It happens only when the engine warms up, mostly at lower rpms, and only when the car is under load. I can't be positive on this one so I need to ask for some help.

It's only when the car is under load though, so I didn't think that was the timing chain slapping, valvetrain? Please help guys, I can't afford to fix the wrong thing, or lose this engine.
