Clearence is a BI*CH on them, I have a tubular k-memeber and it still sucked. As for a power gain, I went to a dyno day and a guy with the same mods except he had a catback (which i need badly) but stock headers dynoed he 22hp lower than me. He wasn't a very smart person either, he was hoping for 300rwhp on stock heads/cams[&:].

Clearance...we talking about dragin the dirt? I already have a full exhaust w no cat and x-pipe...but with stock manifolds...so again the hp you think will be 10-15hp with the LT. thanks

well you will need a new x if you wanted to get lts cuz it won't bolt up to your mid pipe you are running now.

Yea, that is true....I already have discovered I will need to make that modification. I think I am going to go with the flowtech setup mid-x-pipe. I like the looks of it alot different than what I have now on the car and hopefully it will change the sound of the car some.

+1 ^ First off you will need a new midpipe or will have to get your current one fabbed up to fit the longtubes. I would say on a N/A car with just bolt ons you will see 10-15rwhp. As for the sound, your car at idle will sound quieter. Its the upper rpms where they really make her scream. If its worth it to you, then go for it. Major PITA to install as well.

I doubt that you will see the gains most people predict. I've seen this question asked several times. In general dyno runs show that LTs, mid-pipe and tune (all three) give somewhere between 7-20 rwhp over stock pipes. One guy started athread on the subject because he got onlya 7 rwhp gain between dyno runs. The gains on supercharged cars are not nearly so dramatic either. I saw very little gainon the before and after dyno runs (but they were months apart). Another member got a 12 rwhp gain between dyro runs. It sounds like you have already gotten the gains from a mid-pipe and tune so you might see maybe 3-4 rwhp over your current set up.
