Default SLP Exhaust Question

I currently have the SLP Loudmouth I exhaust system on my car. I've had them on for about 8 months now but the truth is that it's just too damn loud! I thought about just going back to the whole flowmaster system but hate to spend all that money again. I noticed SLP made another type of muffler, the Loudmouth II's. It would definitely be cheaper for me to go that route instead of buying a whole other cat back system. Those of you who have heard both exhausts would u say it's a good idea? Are they a lot quieter? Is there much of a difference?Loudmouth I'sare awesome butIjust needa tiny bit quieter. thanks

If the SLP is TOO LOUD my advice is to buy the LM 2"s install them in the catback they're interchangeable. Put the LM resonators up for sale on the forum, someone who wants to get louder will buy them. JMO

Yes they are quiter and still sound great. However they are still loud, but definatly not as loud. Look up some youtube vids, i know that they don't show how loud they are but maybe you could still get an idea.

if you really wanted to go with flowmasters , you could just have them weld them muffs in replace of the LMs, so you dont have to replace the whole cat-back...and the cost would be a lot cheaper, since you would only need to purchase 2 mufflers...which would prob be like $200...or somewhere in there.

Good idea. I didn't even think about that. i guess I could pretty much do that with any muffler right? Magnaflow, borla, flowmaster, etc....
