Wait, What does prochargers warranty cover. Is it your whole engine?

No i don't think it covers the full engine i thinks it just the Procharger Kit itself

How can a 3-core make enough to blow my engine? I went to the procharger website and they said that was the highest I could get. I only want to make the supercharger get a max of 10psi. That's what I was told was the highest I could go safely without blowing anything. On the website they show a pic of my car which is a 03 mustang GT and the gains they get but mention nothing about changing anything in the car in order to be able to handle this. http://procharger.com/FORD/ford_auto.shtml

Go with the 3 core so you have it and you will be ok to run 3.33" pulley. You will probably be around 400-420 rwhp with 11 psi with a complete bolt on car. I would keep it around 400 with a good tune. I am running 11 psi at 5950 rpms on a stock block 3,000 miles on it. I am at 390 rwhp on mustang dyno.

I plan on having this car as my daily driver so I'm going to take what you guys say here to heart when I consider my purchase. I just don't want to over-do it. Yet I don't want to under-do it ether. Are there any cons to getting a supercharger? I know someone told me that I have to use premuim gas when I get it. Now I know that the car is going to whine even at idle. Is there anything else I should know? I just want to get the most amount of info possible so I can really know what I'm getting myself into. Thanks to everyone who's replied so far. I truly value your input.

As the gas issue goes i know when you order a kb they ask you want your tune for 91 or 93 octane. i picked 93 just to be on the safe side of any detonation especially with 10psi. as for your daily driver thats a toss up cause you can keep your car at low rpms on the street with the kb but thats no fun lol but a centri i think would be better on gas milage if thats what your concered of. as for the whine procharger and vortech whistle pretty loud at idle but very descreet at WOT and the kenne bell is just the oposite mine has very little whine at idle if any but at WOT you can hear it bout 1/2 mile down the road. All in all its what you plan on doing with the car taking it to a track frequently or just a street car. KB street car, Centri more for track car

The procharger warranty only covers the charger, not the engine it's going on. You'll be fine with a 3.5 pulley.
