well i think at 111K a mechanical time limit would be up. sooooo, it's time for the PI head cam and intake swap. gota seller, just need to make the transaction. they're romeo heads, from an 01 + so i should be able to keep my valve covers. any of you guys knowabout what it costs to have a machine shop do the swap? i got a place to have it done, just wondering what you guys have paid/been quoted.

Head swap, cam swap...and intake swap...

I'd expect 10 hours of labor at the very least.

I have a crack in my intake manifold as well. Why would ford put a plastic manifold on a mustang? That is so stupid. I am going to see if the dealership will fix it. If not I am counting on the epoxy.

Forgot to say that I have come across several people with the same problem and ford refuses to fix it. They say it is very costly to fix as well.
