[QUOTE=StriderTacticaL;5527481]Nah the tips are not adjustable they are welded on. I took a closer look today and I am starting to think that it is all in my head - i'm not sure.
As far as the kit is concerned, I am like 98% sure it is for 99-04's. Does anyone know if the SN-95 exhaust tips are meant to work for new edges too? if thats the case then i'll have to find out whether I got screwed[/QUOT
Borla does not make any Stinger setups for Pre-99 Mustangs.
99-04 GT's/Mach 1's
99,01 Cobras
03-04 Cobras...
and if you'd gotten a set up for an IRS, you'd know

I have the Borla Stingers and have the same problem on the right side as you do. Theres nothing really you can do about it..at least that I've found out. I had to run 1" spacers on the rear to clear a 255 tire, and it's still close. Theres no way I'll be able to run anything close to 275 or higher with the Stinger cat-back.

I wonder why you guys are having those problems. I've got a Stinger catback (had it since the start of '05) and ran 275's for 3 years and had no issues what so ever.

I've read about other people on this site with the Stingers runnin bigger tires and not havin probs too...iono why we are. It really pisses me off though b/c I dont wanna change my catback but I really want to run at least a 285 in the rear.

Yeah...
Can anyone else shed some light over this?
I just went to another exhaust shop today and they helped me pull the left side out like a 1/4 inch more and now my tips are sticking out the same which is nice. It was just a simple adjustment.
While he had my car lifted up, I took a real good look at my right endpipe and I swear it is right inbetween my tires and gas tank with about 1 to 1.5 inches of space. I really don't see any posible way to adjust it.
This is fustrating because I am pretty darn sure a lot of people here have borla stingers without any problems like this and I am starting to really wonder why

Lol yeah well new would have been good but I am pretty sure a used exhaust shouldn't pose much of a fitment problem unles it's been twisted and **** a lot.
Besides you have the IRS version so I guess wheel clearance is completely irrelevant for you
