Default O/R X...Exhaust question

For those of you who know or have to deal with this...

If I take off my catted h and put an o/r x will this ruin my 02 sensors? I have to pass emissions in Louisiana, I have my sticker for this year but will I need new sensors next year when I put back on the catted h to get another sticker??

nope, it won't ruined your o2 sensor. i ran an o/r x for 2 years and just got my car smogged the other day and it passed fine. im in CA and they're strict over here.

smogged? They hook mine up to the computer under the dash and read the 02 sensor out put and diagnostic readings. If they won't burnout or ruin then that's fine with me thanks.

Personally i would so O/R H for the more loud-deep tone. you will still have it with an X since you have Flows but it'll be raspier

+1. I had an ORX with Flows on my last Mach. It did sound nasty, but after doing it, I would of perfered an H-Pipe for better sound.

an O/R X and flows sounds great, check out my vid

I've had both an O/R X and O/R H with my Flows and by far the X sounds better! It just screams like a race car! I love it!

im not sure how other states are but in ohio they use a mirror to look under your car to see if it has cats. im not sure if the people really look for it or if they just kind act like they do.

i just got a new pypes o/r x off ebay for 67 bucks, im debating on weather to put the stock cat shields on it so it "looks" like i have them.

anyone else have any input on that?

Where in Ohio do you live? I've lived in Ohio my whole life and owned 3 cars, not one of them has been inspected.

For the deep sound go o/r h for a higher "Nascar" sounding exhaust go o/r x.
The say chambered muffs. go best with H pipes but here lately I've heard them paired with o/r x's and they sound good.
