If you do tackle this yourself, then first, buy the Ford part. Next, you do not need a pinion seal puller if you cant get ahold of one, pry bars, screw drivers, hammers all work lol. The most important part is when you go to install everything is that you have a tool with enough ***** to set the bearing preload.

alright and i think i am gonna do it myself while the car is already jacked up....ill head out to the ford garage sometime tommorow and get the parts....what all will i need to get besides the seal and bolt..

3 quarts of 75-140, and friction modifier if you want to use it. I'd recommend it.
Also, when you are tightening the bearing pre-load, it should be set somewhere between 20-25in/lbs of drag... I think thats i (off the top of my head) It isnt as easy as just cranking down because you already have the crush collar collapsed so its very easy to over tighten.. be careful
