nice job and good research on the swap, deff a good alternative for someone who might run into a jam and not have the bucks for a built motor swap. know it all kids on the forum FTL

Thanks! Listening to the video is kinda funny, I just realized the garage door was closed, and my loud exhaust was basically right up against the back wall.. Pretty noisy.

I'm awaiting the dyno numbers just to see if it is making the same HP as a GT motor. If so then I just wasted 1500 dollars on a low mileage 2003 GT motor.

I wouldn't say you wasted it... It will probably be "less work" to put it in... That ole' math equation comes into play.. Time=money...

yeah...he got it swapped in in just a few hours so your right. Can't wait to see the numbers. I'm more interested in the dyno chart to see how it makes power throughout the chart.

I had heard about this swap and I am really close to doing it. I actually started to pull my old motor. How did the power turn out? I have heard it will be the same. I also have the 2000 Windsor. DO I get the motor with or without oil cooler, and should it be the interceptor package? Plus you said you used the mustang valve covers, but I thought that those Windsor covers would not fit the Romeo motor. Please help thank you
