if you have a tuner you might want to look into adding a tad more fuel, If you were only using a 70mm previously, i think you might be running lean (just barely)

Well I was using the stock throttle body previously, which I think is a 65mm, I am going to put my car back on the dyno soon, so I will just go easy on it. Its winter here any way so that wont be hard to do. And just let the dyno do it the right way.

Wow, that's a pretty big jump, and yeah, the dyno is probably the best way to do it. I think I'm going to get the BBK piece as well, it looks pretty nice

So should you not get a throttle body/plenum upgrade unless your going to be dynoed in that week?

Thank you, dennis_112, I was inspecting the product not too long ago at American Muscle. I wasn't sure if I should buy it or not, but your review nailed it. I'm going to be ordering my unit in a short time!

No prob, just doing what I can for the mustang community. I am very happy with it though. You will be amazed by the size of the throttle body. When I seen it on the shelf at Jegs I know I was. I didnt get any photos of the throttle body compared to the stock throttle body, but I seen a photo on AM, last week. The only thing I had any problems with was getting the procharger tubing on the throttle body. The tubing is a 3inch high pressure tube, so there isnt much scretch. I dont know much about the size of the stock tubing or an aftermarket intake, but in my case it barely fit. This is a massive throttle body perfect for any S/C, Turbo, or full bolt-on mustang.

No you can get a throttle body/plenum upgrade and not get a dyno tune. You stock maf will adjust for the difference and incoming air. Under WOT you may get a little lean, and with a dyno tune you will get the most out of it, but not a requirement. I personally dont agree with what most people say about the 70mm vs. 75mm throttle body's. They cost the same and the difference is 5mm, if your going to upgrade you might as well buy the 75mm. Or in my case the 78mm hehehehe. Love it. Gears, Suspension, and Drag Tires and Wheels are the next big ticket items for me. My wallet has winter fever can you tell.
