If you get the FRPP Ring & Pinion set it includes everything you need except bearings. You probably won'tneed bearings sinceyou've a 2000. If you do thenthe shop where youget them installedat should have them. I paid almost $275 for the install. The FRPP work great and have no whine at all!

ford kit
comes with shims, ring & pinion and a crush sleeve
you need to buy 2 quarts of redline gear oil and the 4oz bottle of fiction modifier from ford or summit..you can get the gear set for under 150.00 and about 150-225 to have some one put them in you will need a chip to cailbrate the odometer

Will I need to buy something to recalibrate the speedo???? I have a hypertech power programmer for the computer, I think that it MAY take care of that but not sure. So where can I get a set of Ford gears? Also...someone said that the ford gears have no "whine". What does this mean? Do some kinds of gears make a whining noise?
