Default anyone got the new 78mm bbk tb intake plenum?

well i wanted to know how good it was. Well i just bought it and saw that it was brand new. it was almost 150+ cheaper than the accufab and bigger. and instead of 2 pieces it is all one piece. well if you got it then tell me how it is.

why would you lose hp with 3mm of space. between the 70-75 mm there is virtually no hp increase

that throttle body is waaay to big. i don't know about losing .2 seconds off the 1/4, but i'm willing to bet you'll lose a little bit HP and TQ at the expense of throttle response.
I'd go buy something else if you aren't F/I.. C&L or Accufab would be my choice. i hear the FI guys are getting excellent results with the new BBK unit though.

you don't really lose power, its just that the space is so big that it decreases the velocity which means the air flows in slower and it takes more effort to move that giant air mass into the intake...also the stock intake manifold only lets so much air through anyways. so by going bigger than 75mm, you're wasting your time and money. 75mm is ideal, nothing more

What is the stock size? It seems most of you guys buy 70-75mm aftermarket...
