Default Low Coolant Light

My low coolant light has been on since I have owned the car and it is really bothering me....i know the sensor is the one that is located in the reservoir. I was wondering if you can replace that sensor or if there is anyway of fixing it.

Just delete it but cutting the wire off, does not hurt anything

Fix it right, so that when your manifold cracks and you bleed coolant all over the place, you'll know. Aside from the steam in your face.

Here is the thing with the low coolant light. First of all they are not worth replacing and always seem to go bad/turn on when the car hits water/rain. When I did my aftermarket overflow tank the is no way you can put the sensor (no place to hook it to) on the after market overflow. I simply cut the wires back very close to the wire harness it's on, capped the wires and hid were it is undetectable! Who in the Hell is ever gonna let their radiator fluid get that low to the point of serious problems!! Come on guys, you are all sharper than that!!!!

Default my 99

my 99 Gt light was fine till i did a drain and flush, including the bottle. Then once a week my light would come on, so i would check my bottle, full. So i rember getting the plug wet, so i blew it out with air, and a can of sensor cleaner. Havent had a problem since.
