Default Need to figure out what exhaust

I need advice on whether I should go with a catted xpipe or noncatted. There are no emissions test where I live so that is not a real concern (screw the environment..j/k) but I don't want something thats terribly loud. I don't need my neighbors to get pissed off at me. Any suggestions on what kind to get? I want it to be throaty not too loud.

By the way I checked out youtube many times and that doesn't really help me all that much. The sound is kinda ****ty.

if i were you i'd say screw the neighbors lol, but if u want throaty but not loud than go with a catted x and maybe some flows or somethin, it's all personal opinion...if you ask 10 people what they like for an exhaust you're gonna get 10 different answers

If I had a choice I'd ditch the cats.

First - some perspective. I'm 39. I like the classic sound of the muscle car. When I installed my Pypes cat back, it was really nice. I had also purchased a Pypes o/r x, but hadn't installed it yet. I was nervous about the sound and waited a couple of weeks. Once I installed it, it took me about a week to get used to it. Being a gray haired family man, you know, it seemed weird. I love it now. Lose the cats. Around town, it will sound great. Hit the loud pedal and feel the grin on your face. The way I figure it, old guys like me have Harleys. What's the dif if mine's got four wheels?

I went with off road h pipe and flowmasters. I'd say go off road but then you need to buy mil eliminators and hope that they work for years to come. My car has some extra interior noise because of the set up but I also have a supercharger to back up the muscle car sound. So I can deal with it.

Definately get an offroad pipe. The sound quality is so much better with no cats.
