No offense to the OP but it seems to me that we should have some sort of post/time requirement before a newbie can start a thread. It could just automatically take them to the search function when they hit the "New Thread" button. Seems like a legit idea to me at least.

Not a bad idea... I was reading other posts for over a month before I made my first post. There have been enough threads made that most of the basic questions are already answered.
