Control Arms (need traction)
Greetings, fairly new to the forum. Just bought my GT yesterday. It's actually far more motor than I ever planned on but I just couldn't pass up the deal. So I'm just picking up on the build where the PO left off.
On to more important things. I need traction. With the current tune I'm running, it's putting down ~540rwhp. Granted my 315/30/18 BFG DRs are shot, but it is just blowing the tires away in 1-4. Can't even begin to put your foot down.
The guy I bought the car from recommended getting some rear control arms to help plant the power. What would you guys recommend?
Thanks,
bigmac

Mega Bite also has two locations for mounting. I did read somewhere that they are no longer being made, but they are still on LMR's webpage.

You read that from me a few weeks ago lol. Everyone still has them listed but you can longer get them. Ford racing ones are the same except they cost a little more

Yea I seen them yesterday on the Ford Racing Parts website, so they are they same as mega bites as far as funtion and quality goes...I may have to add them to my wish list of parts, thats almost topping 2k as we speak. Is anyone using them on this forum that has some results?

Changing the lower rear control arms made a huge difference for me. I am not making as much power as you, but have no problem breaking the tires loose.
Before the rear control arms. Coming out of a turn and giving half throttle the *** would kick out and control was an issue.
After rear control arms. I can give more throttle and earlier before coming out of a turn. No control issue.
For me replacing the control arms was a confidence builder. Better traction and more predictable control overall.
