Default Compression Test Results (Am I okay?)

I performed a compression on my engine last night for s***s and giggles. I let the engine warm up to 180 degrees, shut it down, removed the plugs, disconnected the fuel injectors, and tied the throttle open at WOT. I got the following readings. Cylinder 1 (196), 2 (199), 3 (197), 4 (197), 5 (212), 6 (218), 7 (216), 8 (215).

As you can see the Passenger's side bank although fairly consistent is different from the driver's side bank which is also fairly consistent. I also noted that on the first stroke the compression for each cylinder was between 110 and 120 psi and the needle moved rapidly throughout each compression until maxing. I never went for more than 6 compression strokes.

Is it normal for the 2 banks to have differing compression rates? Am I missing something? I did timing chain work a few months ago (tensioner on driver's side went bad and chain jumped a tooth.

That looks pretty solid to me. I'd be weary if you had one dip down like in the high 170's or something, but that's pretty strong

It's good news that numbers are right on top of each other on sides

I think that's okay, especially because all of the lower numbers are on one bank.

they are definitely better than my numbers. lol i pulled 90 and 145 on a couple of my cylinders but that is being addressed.

Looks like one bank is off, need to degree the cams.

I was thinking the same thing but I was going to wait until I get my new cams and springs installed.
