Hey guys, I have a 3 button remote and the range is totally s***ty... I think it's about to die too.

I'm looking for a 4 button remote on ebay so I can pop the trunk too, anybody have an idea of which model number of remotes are compatible with my car?

Most FOBs are compatible.. I've programmed people's remotes to operate both cars (which isnt the smartest thing to do) Just about any Ford remote that style should program. You do know how to program them right? Get in, hit the door unlock button, then cycle the key from off to run 8 times, stopping on run the 8th time. The door locks should cycle, then you just hit the lock button on the remote and it should program it. When your done shut the key off and everything is good

i have two brand new fobs from an explorer but i can't get them to work with my car

Odd, I have programmed a FOB to work with an explorer and a taurus.... I dont see why a Mustang one wouldnt work as well
