Default How do you think it will look??

I have an 01 GT and my dad offered to buy me some new rear wheels. I showed him a picture of some deep dish anthracite bullitt wheels and he really liked them. They are the same wheels that are in my sig just deep dish. Also I am going to buy the eibach lowering springs that will lower my car about 1" or a little more (Im not going with the other kit so I dont have to buy new shocks and struts). I am also buying the mach 1 chin spoiler/grill delete. So how do you think the deep dish wheels with about a 1" drop and the mach 1 chin spolier/grill delete will look? And do you think 1" is low enough or should I go ahead and go lower with some new shocks and struts? Remember if I have to get new shocks and struts I may not be able to get the gears I want and I will have to be careful if I get longtube headers. Lets hear what you guys think! Thanks.

Sounds like a good setup.

I'm ordering LMM (Laurelmountainmustang.com) springs, they lower your car about 1.5" and they are only $150. I have heard good things about them. I have a vert so it will prolly lower my car a little more. I also might get fox body shocks and struts to go with them.

Those deep dish wheels will look phat. You getting 17x10.5s?

I have deep dish on my car but they are black. I had the anthricite on my old car before and I liked them a lot.

Yes I am going with the 17x10.5. I am having a bit of difficulty deciding what size tires to get. Says I can run up to 315/35/17 but I think thats a little much. What would you guys recommend?

I figured out what the 315/35/17 tires would look like on my car with those wheels and they would look pretty good actually but I have heard that tires that big may give my car a bumpy ride. What size would all of you recommend?

Someone on a local forum said that they have heard the aftermarket bullit wheels, such as the 17x10.5 ones I am wanting, look a little different than the stock bullit wheels. Is this true and if so in what ways are the two wheels different? I know that the 17x10.5 wheels have a deep lip on them and that is what I want but are they different in any other way? If I just got the two 17x10.5 deep dish wheels in the rear would they match up with my stock front wheels?

telling you from expeience that 315's will rub pretty significantly on your rear end....get 275's they'll geive you good grip if you wanna gun and they won't rub up on anything...im actually looking for some black bullits 17/10.5 myself..

All of that will look really good. It's funny how some of the smallest enhancements will make a huge difference. A few weeks ago, i put on a Mach1 grille delete and a shorty antenna, and to me, it is all the difference in the world. Next is the chin spoiler.

I have the 17x10.5 anthricite deep dish on the back and the 17x9 in the front. I put 285/40 17 BFG KDW's on the rear and 235/45 17 on the front and it looks great, the rears have lots of room. If you are looking for a regular street tire I say get the BFG KDW's they hook really good, and that is the biggest size that you can get them. If you do want to go bigger in size that 285 it is really going to cost you if you do not go to a d/r.
