If he is gonna give you the throttle cable and altenator with the bullitt intake then get the etire engine. If not it's not worth it. That intake is just heavy and only adds 5hp not really worth it.

Just use your tranny no sense in buying another stock one when yours is good still.

If you only get 120 in all cylinders then start saving for a rebuild because the engine is on its way out. 140-160 is good 180 is awsome. The main thing to look for is that all cylinders are within 10% of each other.

it makes perfect sense. if the rings got washed in fuel from a bad enough miss, you will see a lower compression reading

No it doesn't. If you have ever done a compression check you will know that there are no sparkplugs in the engine and the fuel injectors are unplugged during the test.

If the walls were washed then they are washed and ruined. When fuel washes the cylinder walls down they remove the layer of oil on the walls that the rings ride along. With that oil gone the rings dig into the wall destyoying the rings and scratching the walls. Which is why your compression is lowered. The only fix to that is to re ring it.

The compression check come back good 135 to 130 in all cylinders. My driver side chain tensioner is broke and my time is sloppy as hell. I think that is my problem. So I get to save some cash and maybe put some cams in instead.
