Clutch 1998 Mustang

<FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'm having trouble getting into 5th and reverse in my Mustang GT. Has anyone had this problem? I have heard that this is a common problem in Mustangs. Is this true? I want to get a sport clutch, but don't know which one to get. Any suggestions? </FONT>

When I first got my GT, getting into 5th gear was a chore and a half, same with reverse.</P>

How long have you had the car?</P>

What about the forks? Have you had them inspected?I can't imagine your clutch giving you trouble just getting into 5th and reverse and not any other gears..

he needa a new adjustable quatrant and need to check you clutck fork and your shifter....as some of it maybe driver error as some will hit the block of 3rd
