I would worry about the gas eating the zip ties if the plastic could not take it

Thats what I was thinking, just figured I'd ask. Won't the baffle flop up and down?

stainless steel baffle and jb weld are working fine (better than this 4r70w i bought d@mmit). i just busted the old basket out with a pry bar and used some vice grips to twist the remnants at the bottom out. btw this car basically only leaves the shop to get ripped on now so it should be fine for street driving.
