IMO - Seats, Carpet, Panels, ect. would come out way before my sway bars - to remove weight. As others said. Replace your bushings. Loose weight elsewhere if that is your goal. Or loose 10 pounds yourself, and call it a day. Much safer

What are the actual advantages for removing the sway bars?

Removing the front sway bar is fine and will allow for faster weight transfer while at the track. Takeing the rear swaybar off is bad. It keep the tires planted around turns and helps with traction from a dig.

Give it up guy's, she's determined to remove a sway bar no matter what.
Or maybe she lives at the track?? Good Luck!

I have removed both mine, not done much driving with them off yet, but not noticed much of a difference. I left them off cause I had to remove them put other parts on so I left them off.

I don't know if this helps at all but I took my front sway bar off my truck and it sucks when I'm going about 60 on back roads. I think you should leave it on.

I have taken mine off before as well, and wasn't happy with the roll the car picked up.

I can see the point to taking it off for the track, but if you are going to drive on the streets I would leave it on.

THE ONLY REASON TO REMOVE YOUR SWAY BAR IS IF YOUR GOING UP TO THE TRACK TO DRAG RACE WHICH WOULD ONLY BE THE FRONT SWAY BAR. SO IF YOUR NOT GOING UP TO THE TRACK THEN LEAVE IT ON OR PUT IT BACK ON WHEN YOU HAVE LEFT THE DRAG STRIP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
