so to start with ive searched on this and didnt find anything like my case. the car is a 03 GT with 91k miles (if that matters).
so when i first turn the car on the odomoeter and gauges take several seconds before they come on. which i have noticed makes me not able to turn traction control off. it use to do this once a month or so(which it never did it until i put a MachMP3 in), but now it does this everytime i turn the car on. the light is not burnt out (cause sometimes i get lucky and after driving it awhile i can turn it off, that hardly ever happens though). any ideas on what the cause is? ive checked the fuse and even swapped them out and it still does it.
i dont know if this would effect it, but the only thing i can think of is; i had a bad oil filter seal that sprayed my fresh oil out the filter all over the engine compartment. like i said it did this just a few times (if that) a month, but after that happened it does it everytime now.sorry if this is confusing and TIA.

swap out the radio with the stock one and see if it is still doing it.

cant find the stock radio, but i did try it with no radio and still doesnt turn off. i got on it today to see if the traction control does engage, and the car "bogs" down like suspose to, but the traction control symbol on the dash never lite up. so i dunno!
