^ when you hit the braked pedal it pulsates your ABS is coming on, I just bled the brakes with a one man bleeder the second time around and it did the trick

You will not need any teflon tape on the threads of the nuts as they should have flared ends. The flare is where the seal is made NOT the threads. If there is NO flare on end, some teflon tape would be good, but install only a couple winds and pull it into the thread valleys. Also apply the tape so when the nut is installed, it will "continue" the wind so it goes deeper into the threads and doesn't un-wind out.

I also recommend, although it may be too late now, to install SS brake lines out back as well. Did you use DOT 4 or Super Blue fluid? Like 99Black says, do it once, do it right!

The ends are flared so I agree the tape really shouldn't make it any better.

On the other hand I took the fittings apart again today, took the bracket off that the hard to soft line coupler mounts to, then put a few wraps of tape on the threads and torqued it down again, but this time without the bracket mounted to the fender well, it allowed the fitting to line up flush with the hard line and I guess made it sit better in there. I now have no leaks on either side...though I'm not completely clear on what fixed it.

Sounds like the tape acted as a lubricant and kept the friction down, so that is fine. The seal is indeed on the flare, so the tape won't cause any harm at all.

Congrats on your install

Now that I have these nice shiny rotors on here, is there anything I can do to keep the inside of the rotor (around the hub) from rusting? Every set I've had has eventually fallen to that.

What color did you use? My calipers are red and I really don't want something to draw attention to the rotors themselves.

When you did your hard line to your SS line did it seem like the nut didn't go in as far as it did with the rubber line did?

I got a leak on my driver side and it doesn't look like it went in as far as it did the stock line but I can't tighten it any farther. I was fine with no leaks until I did my last bleeding on the drivers side because I had no more bubbles, I took everything off and I noticed a couple drips that weren't there before.
