T45 to TR3650 swap
i got a GT recently and had a lot of fun, but from the very beginning my 2nd was killing me, in order to shift without a grind i have to shift it in 2 slow clicks, ruins my 60' time too. plus on higher rpm it doesn't always go into 1st. when tranny is cold all the gears grind if i shift fast.
A friend of mine is parting out his 04 GT only has 20k miles on it, so i figured i'll get his tranny, but my other friend said that tr3650 is not a direct bolt on to an SN95. so my question is, is it easier to rebuild my t45 or swap it with tr3650? are tremmics better?
i know a lot of ppl will say, just get a t56, but i don't have money for it.
thank you

You can head over to my T-56 swap thread for all the goodies you need to know. I went from a T-3650, but pretty much the same swap. May need different clutch and drive-shaft, but I don't think so.
For the best I will have to say, you are better off going built T-45. The T-56 is going to be ALOT more to make that strong and the only REAL advantages are listed in my link.

the thing is, i wanna go the cheapest way, and most i'm planning to run in the future is around 300hp, so what would be cheaper, rebuilding my T45 or swapping it with TR3650? i heard that Tremics are stronger

Luck of the Draw but 3650 parts are easier to replace and rebuild.
