Anyone running supercharger with 4.10 gears?
I have a 2003 mustang GT supercharger with a twin screw blower and I am looking at getting 4.10 gears for the rearend. I was wondering how it was on take off cause right now mine is like a pig on take off until it gets into the 2800 rpm range for the supercharger to kick in. I don't want to go to smaller gears I am afraid I will be dissappointed with smaller gears. All replys appreciated especially if you have the set up I am looking at doing.

I have 4.10s but I have a centri blower and badass suspension. If you launch it right with 4.10s and stock suspension with a twin screw you will have no traction. 3.55s or 3.73s are all I would do with a twin screw unless you plan on building your suspension.

What does the stall convertor do and what should I buy. And to the other guy that posted the suspension question what kind of suspension do I need? Of course all this would be with 4.10 gears questions that I have. The car is a manual transmission (5 speed).

4.10's w/ whipple here. it is easy to loose traction in 1st and 2nd, but my tires are crappy and stock suspension. but if i feather the throttle a bit, not going into full boost off the line, it pulls pretty well. if you beef up the suspension and tires, it should launch like a ****.
