Default Rev/Starter Issue..

So on Friday, I pulled into a parking deck when my electronics started going crazy and my ABS light came on every time I pushed the break. I pulled into a parking spot and my revs just died. When I tried to start it again, it sounded as if something kept cutting the starter off and the Theft light kept blinking. I had to get it towed to the nearest Ford dealer. Luckily it's still under warranty. What does this sound like to you guys? Should I be worried?

It's a 2004 Mustang GT Auto

Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with what happened but recently, it's been doing this thing where every time you start it and let it idle, the revs fluctuate up and down for a couple of minutes before they settle...I would say they fluctuate about 250-300 rpms. It's not much but it's the equivalent of me tapping on the throttle lightly...it's just kind of annoying.

Well the alt could have died and that would cause the lights and whatnot to act up... Hard to tell without really being there. Atleast its still covered....
