Default Weird idle after oil service yesterday...

Ever since i had my oil changed (yesterday) by somebody else my idle speed keeps changing within +/- 200 rpm when im stopped. And then when I put it in park the rpms go up to a higher idle than ever before. They must have messed with something so do you guys have any clue what they could have done? Is there any needle they could have adj when under the hood? Please help me out thanks.

Why would they mess with anything?
It is probably just a coincidence that something else went wrong or bad just after.

Did they disconnect the battery for any reason? This would reset the KAM and cause the PCM to have to relearn the idle air and long term fuel trims--among other things...

Sound like your Idle Air Controller (IAC) is starting to crap out. Probably just a coincidence that it happened right after the oil change. There's not really anything that they could have done to mess with the idle of the car.

+1 for bad IAC. i just replaced mine yesterday.

But take yours off and clean it with choke/carb cleaner first before you buy new. I cleaned mine and it worked but i had already ordered a new iac and it was in the mail the next day lol.

it's "gypped" not "jipped". If you're going to use a racist word, at least have the courtesy to get it right.

Well before you go replacing parts, check the oil level... If its over-full by too much it will could cause a rough idle.
