Question Custom Guage Cluster

So i really need to update my interior. and the first thing that comes to mind is the gauge cluster. I know i want do to the chrome rings (http://www.americanmuscle.com/gauge-rings-9404.html), but i also want to switch the gauge faces, and the bezel plate. the plate i'll prolly change to silver if it fits with the chrome rings.

but what i REALLY need is some good faced gauges. i like the stock black, if it werent so flat looking, green at night, and the needles werent orange... sooo...

does anyone know where i could get some gloss black gauges - that glow blue at night, custom made or not, and what to do about the needles?

i know thats prolly alot to ask, but im really picky about how the interior looks. and it seems noone out there makes alot of different variations. its either, glow, reverse glow, or stock

if you have a custom gauge cluster, i'd like to see it if you're willing to show it!

kinda wish i could go all digital with the gauges and just throw up an LCD screen in the dash lol...

florida50.com does custom gauge layouts and will uses autometer gauges. Pricey, but you're going to have some choices. Or if you really want something unique, you could see if they could get you a custom setup for a racepak. Prolly very expensive, but there's your digital setup.

a racepak setup is $699 new, but they are absolutely amazing. I had one for a while, I really want it back so I think I might buy another one.

keeps everything nice and neat, and it's alot more accurate than the stock guages

Can it be mounted in the dash like they offer for foxbodies or did you do a custom mount?

edit: The racepak datalogs as well, correct? Can you put a wideband signal and such to it?

I did a custom mount in place of the stock gaugecluster.

And which one you get determines whether or not it datalogs as well, I had the basic one, but it did have a connection for wideband.

florida 5.0!! they do awesome work. and will custom cut a design layout that you want. for bout $150ish, well worth it. as for gauges check out the auto meter nexus gauges. im doin my whole gauge set up w/them. they're a bit expensive, but well worth it i think!

That Racepak looks sweet. I dont see any housings for the new edges tho? those are prolly custom hmmm?

been looking at blackcatcustom.com might just have them make me up some custom faces, repaint the needles, and switch to some LED bulbs.

oh and Mustang3GT07, yea, those are great, but im not a fan of white gauges. i have a black on black car. trying to stick to that theme, with either a blue or red interior. i have a blue radio head already, and figured blue would be an easy option for the cluster too, but noone makes one thats, black by day, blue by night...
