Default HELP!! AIR Filter

got my 2003 gt jacked up and wheel off and im trying to figure out how to get this k &n filter on here what do i need to do

? jacked up and wheel off? woah? for an intake?

my UPR intake/filter are in the fender, i just shoved it up under the fender.

You don't have to jack the car up. If you just bouy a K&N filter to put into your stock intake, you just need to remove the bolt holding the filter housing to the fenderwall and then pull the whole assembly upwards. If you have the stock rubber air silencer/snorkel thing, it is just wedged into place so you just need to nudge and budge the intake assembly out. Then release the buckle holding the filter housing to the tube and replace the filter.

No need to give Ford ideas... Its bad enough that a full k member disassemble is needed for header install...

For me, I just pull the fender liner back or off, reach up there, loosen the clamp holding the filter to the pipe and remove it. I have a JLT, but it should be the same.
