for about 3 grand less you could go with a cobra crank forged internals and the intercooled twin screw and be right there with that kit. plus your gonna need a whole new drivetrain for that kind of power</P>

My two centssays the engine isn't completely stock. You can't add 340 extra hp to a head that was built to flow for 260 hp. At some point you'll need turbo spec cams (there's two in the SOHC 4.6), new valves and springs at the very least. Eventually, you'll have spill back under WOT with the stock head.</P>

Looks like one awesome as hell setup though.</P><edited><editID>own3dbyyou</editID><editDate>37941.5710300926</editDate></edited>

I think when they mention "600 rwhp on a stock 4.6 engine" they are speaking hypothetically, simply what is possible with their kit. Everybody in their right mind with a clue about Mustangs would know to use that much HP effectively would require extensive modifications to the engine and drivetrain, but if you can afford to dump $7,500 on a twin turbo kit, chances are you can afford the necessary modifications as well. Either way if you had the cash, it's a badass setup.</P>

T45 is only good for about 360 lbs of torque from what i am told, with 600 hp and torque numbers in that area you would need a world class or tko tranny. plus harnessing that kind of power with a 5 speed would be a hellified challenge. probably need a c4 or aode built up to actually utilize that kind of power.. i imagine you would need a new driveshaft and rear end too. the stock parts would probably twist under that kind of load
