Sorry to see you got screwed on that. As one person said, that's one thing you never want to buy used.

Seems like seller made an honest mistake, responded to my e-mail within 24 hours and gave me a full refund... so I guess now I have a free set of broken gears lol

Well that is good that he gave you your money back w/out any problems. But god damn those gears were jacked up. I wonder if it is the same guy that is selling a million used gears on ebay. i think of buying used gears as i do of using the same condom twice, never goes on right again.

guys i know this should be known and stickied........

anyways,

if you buy used gears;

by them in person
or
from a trusted seller/friend

or just be realistic and good to yourself and buy them new.

his honest mistake could have easily been just as honest as him shipping broken parts around the country/world.

be smart, don't be cheap, reap what you sow is the what they say..

this happens everyday to people, be it with dogs to parts.

I just think its funny that everything is clean and the nut (with the broken end still stuck in it) is nicely tucked in its spot... I've sold 3 sets of my old gears to people, and they never had a problem with them. You win some you lose some

Gears are just way too cheap to risk buying used. Pay a buck fifty to get them new and be happy.
