Nice man, I did the same, sold mine for the stang. I was getting crazy with it lol. But then again I'm not any better with the stang! Hahaha. But my truck was an automatic and I was tired of no control with shifting...

i have a ranger as well. 06 3.0 4x4.
i hydrolocked the engine mud bogging so now i need a new engine
rangers are fun little trucks,i almost wrecked it twice once ****in around on a dirtroad another time on black ice. but not the mustang for some reason*knock on wood*

i wish mine was a 4.0 sohc but too much work to change it over.

just because you have alot of miles on ur car doesn't mean ur coil packs are bad. they last forever. also, if your car is stockish then you won't see any difference between the screamin demons and the stockers. spend the money on something that you will actually feel like subframe connectors (just an example) blow or turbo ur car then get the ignition system

this is far from the truth....coil packs are notoriously common for going bad. Cracked or not they still fail over time. If the car has 100k or more on it...its not gonna be long before they start dropping off if they havent already. Mine started failing at 72k, its a matter of time as well, not just miles. Like i said before, for the price of 100$, you can have new plugs and coils, its just silly not to replace them.
