Default Question about cams

I bought a 2004 mustang GT a couple months ago, and I was looking to do some more upgrades to it. It has the following already done to it:
Cat-Back exhaust
Air Intake
75mm throttle body
4.10 gears
Im pretty sure its been lowered
I also have a diablo tuner for it

My goal is to supercharge, but that probally wont come until next summer. Right now Im getting ready to put LT Headers on it:

and pulleys:

My question is about cams, almost all my buddies say I should put cams in even if that means not supercharging it. They also say if I still really want to supercharge it, to just do both but do the cams first. What I was wondering was if all cams are compatible with a supercharger and what type of cams should I get? I was looking at these:

Only $260. Another question I had was what RPM range should I be looking at. Thanks for any help. Also if you know of any other mods I should do, please feel free to suggest away.

Also after thinking about it, my car has been lowered, so I think I need to get shorties to keep from scraping.

Supercharger cams and n/a cams are different. I would get the supercharger first then the cams.

those pulleys are gonna have to come right back off when you put the blower on.

wait on the cams til you get the blower

as far as cams go, aftermarket N/A cams will make more power than stock cams with a blower, but not as much as a grind that's custom made for forced induction (blower cams). the lobe separation angle (LSA) will be wider (i.e. higher number) on a blower cam than an n/a cam. for example, check out Cushman Motorsports' web site and look at his 2V cam grinds. his stage 2.5 n/a grind runs on a 109 degree LSA, while the stage 2.5 blower cams run a 114 degree LSA. there may also be differences in the duration and lift numbers, but i think the LSA is the biggest difference. if you wanna go with cams before the blower that's fine, but just remember that if you wait and do the bower and cams at the same time and use a blower cam grind, you'll make more power than with an n/a cam.

Alright, I was looking at the cams on this website, and one thing that confused me was RPM ranges. What RPM range do I want to get?

Go with Cushman Motor Sports 2.5 blower cams they will work with an N/A car and once you get your blower someday you will be allset and they have a nice rpm range and nice cam sound. These cams are awesome and remember the bigger the cam the more low end tq you will lose down low. So if it is a street car keep that in mind.

Those cams is only reflecting price for one and you will need two of them plus springs. You are better of saving for the blower first unless you can perform the cam install yourself.

the rpm range of the cam is determined by a couple different factors, namely duration and LSA. a cam with a smaller LSA and longer duration will operate better in the high rpm ranges. i still recommend Cushman Motorsports cams, you'll be paying about the same as you would for a generic Comp Cam grind. you'll also need to replace your valve springs. i know some cams say no springs required, but if you have a high mileage engine or plan on turning some high rpm, then you're better off replacing them. the last thing you want is valve float at high rpm under boost.
