Default Fuel pump/regulator...Do you think I need one???

Hello folks,

I am new to not only these boards but Mustangs as well. I owned a 89' Vettte for years. Had to sell due to kids and needing a back seat. I wanted the next best thing. It was a Camaro or a Mustang. I love this car.

My question is...
With a CAI, exhaust and throttle body, I don't hear much about fuel. With all that extra air flow, wouldn't more fuel be needed and possibly a regulator to control it?

If you suggest a fuel pump/regulator please suggest brands and related info. I don't have much in the way of help with mod advice except a Performance shop 30mi away that I have no history with and these boards.

Thanks for the help,

You don't need to worry about fuel issues till you start modding a lot. Your fine. Your stock ECU will compansate for any fuel issues. If you go to a supercharger then you start worrying about it. The new edge mustang will handle all the bolt on parts fine without upgrading the fuel pump or injectors. Your fuel regulater is just before your fuel rails on the passenger side. Don't worry about it.

You don't have a fuel pressure regulator that you can upgrade. You have a returnless fuel system. The regulator is in the tank right on top of the pump. You have no need for fuel upgrades yet anyway.
