Default need some quick questions answered

im parting this '00 mustang gt i have and using it to swap out my v6 and make it a GT

i need to know if the brake lines and fuel lines need to come out aso or are they the same on my v6 model?

im sorta strapped for time so i need to know if i need these last two things off the car!


btw my car is a 2000 also any help is appreciated!

the v6's and gt's have the same brakes so i dont think you have to take out the lines. as far as the fuel lines not too sure about those but the fuel rails will have to be swapped out seeing as the gt has 2 more cylinders.

that would be the metal rail thats at the front in the engine bay that runs all the way to the gas tank correct?

yes, and they have fuel injectors under them

I think you need the GT fuel line. The connection on the gt rails is in the back and on the v6 it is in the front. The v6 line may be too long and look like crap.

thanks for the heads up but can anyone confirm that i need the GT WHOLE gt fuel assembly, mainly the line that comes from the fron to the tank? or am i fine leaving it be and using mine?
