Blinking "theft" light... car won't start, but not a bat. issue
So I've got this weird problem with my stang and I'm trying to see if anyone else has ever had a problem like it, and if so, what you did to fix it. When I try to start my car, it cranks, but it won't turn over. The theft light in the instrument panel blinks continuously, and the car threw a code that the key wasn't right, but both of my keys don't work, so it seems like whatever reads the keys is having problems. I had to get the car towed to a shop, and they said that "the computer just needed to be reset." That worked for a day, so I went to pick it up, drove it home, and now it's dead again. What gives? Has anyone else ever had this experience? I don't even know how to trouble shoot this problem, and the shop basically couldn't figure it out.
Thanks for any help/advice.

Your saying its not a Bat issue but it sure sounds like it. You should call the dealership on this issue. My friends stang did the same thing.
The fact that it started up again enough for you to drive it for a while still confuses me. I would definately call the boys at the nearest Ford Dealership to see what they can do.

It sounds like the pats has taken a ****. IDK how or why but I used to get at least 1 person a week trying to buy our Directed E. Bypass modules at best buy that we use for remote starts. (all of them for Ford vehicles.)
No, BB wont program or install them for that purpose.
