Default Improving the sound of my '96 Cobra 4.6L

Hello, new member here, just bought a '96 Cobra Mustang and it's all stock. I would like to put on an aftermarket exhaust and a o/r H-pipe with or without cats. I'm looking for a combo that will give the car a mean deep powerful rumble that will turn heads and get compliments but won't be obnoxious loud or unappealing. I don't really like the raspy sound.

I was thinking of this combo:

Magnaflow catback
BBK H-pipe
Cats or no cats?

I've heard the Magnapack and don't like it.

Also, what are the widest tires I can stick on the back to give the car a more aggressive meaner look from the rear?

I personally love the sound of the no cat h-pipe, I would suggest... o/r h-pipe with mac pro dumps. SN-95s look great with no tailpipes!

I like the sound of Borla. It's expensive as hell, but the sound is awesome.

well if you dont want obnoxious dont get a o/r x with spintechs...but in all seriousness you can do a o/r h and flowmster super 44's or mac catback/pro dumps..those all sound awesome....the mac catback will probably be better for you the dumps are a little louder....also for tire size you the biggest you can fit without any issues are 315's...may i suggest the NITTO 315 DR, i have those on mine and they are great, very limited wear on the street, havent noticed a decreased...hook like no joke and they are awesome in the rain...must have

Thanks for all your opinions. Right now it's a toss up between the Magnaflow catback or MAC, both with an H-pipe. Should I leave the cats on or off and what would that do to the sound, would it make it deeper or more raspy and clanky? I don't want it to sound like metal rattling. I have to hear more on YouTube but more importantly in person.

I personally really like the sound of this setup in the link below so far, what do you guys think of that sound for a '94-'98 style Cobra?

5.0 85 GT your Cobra is nice! I have a black Cobra as well. Would love to add the smoke rear light and headlight covers to mine, do you leave them on at night too? My only mod so far cosmetically has been a hotfibertrends 2 1/2" Cobra RR hood to make it look more aggressive.
