Where would you guys start the service engine light came on today throwing a p0300 and a p0420 which is multiple cylinder misfire along with cat efficiency? The car does have a sporatic dip in the rpm at idle, only sometimes i was pointing towards the iac causing that but its been doing that for a while. Im thinking plugs first? Is that where you would start. Any tips would be appriciated thx.

Try the IAC. Also, put some injector cleaner or seafoam into your engine on multiple fillups, and repeatedly. Switch your fill ups to Shell, Mobil, or Valvoline. Those stations have cleaning additives with nitrogen in them, preventing buildup. Mobil is preferable.

im not exactly sure what the IAC is but if i had to guess i would say it has something to do with the injectors

Does every ford have a random cylinder missfire?????? every ford owner i talk to they have one im thinking ford needs a recall
