camshaft position sensor?....thats what it looks like when i looked at my car...its right behind the power steering resevior

It can't be the camshaft sensor, he said his engine starts and runs perfectly. What are the colors of the two wires that you are looking at? The two wires in question are both black. Hope this helps. Thank you, Tommy.
