I wouldnt really want to run DRs in the front, what exactly are you tryin to accomplish by doing that (i dont quite understand your post sorry)

Heres my old car with 275s on 8" rim....

For the FWD conversion! duh!
But yea i want Drag radials and i was going to get new wheels with them, now i dont have the finances for new wheels, but i still need 2 tires replaced. So say i got drag radials on stock wheels now and say i upgrade to new wheels in a few months, i was hoping i could save some money by putting the DRs on the new wheels up front, while getting 315 DRs out back. Confusing i know..

I think ill just get some 255 NTO5s, been hearing great things about them.

Maybe I still dont understand you, but if your front rims are never going to be put on the rear, why the hell do you still want DRs?

They will be used in the rear for now until he gets new wheels and puts them up front and runs a wider rear.

then he's still stuck with DRs in front unless he wants to shell out more $$ for regular tires

I'm just gonna stop thinkin so hard and let the TS do what he needs to do

I understand that and I know that they NT05 isn't a DR. I was simply explaining the situation to him.

i have nitto nt555s and the sidewalls of these are even pretty soft giving the car a mushy handling feel, i bet it would be even worse with the 555rs

nt05s would be really good though because they have a stiffer reinforced sidewall and your car will handle awesome in turns i bet
