Default Aftermarket clutch noob question

OK, so my TOB had been chattering for quite a while, and I finally decided to replace it. Figured I ought to have the clutch replaced while I was at it, so I ordered up this clutch disc:

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CTF-380800/

And its associated Centerforce Performance I pressure plate, and the Centerforce TOB.

I got the car back today, and there's no slippage, but the clutch engages at what seems to be the top of the pedal. Is this normal, or is there some adjustment that is needed?

I am running stock motor, stock clutch cable, no quadrant or firewall adjuster. The only parts changed from stock are the aforementioned clutch disc, pressure plate, and throwout bearing. The mechanic who did the work said he checked out the flywheel but it didn't need resurfacing.

What should I look for, or will it break in and move the engagement point back to the floor?

Thanks,

-John

theres really no such thing as " flywheel didnt need resurfaced "....but too late now ...a quad & firewall adj. will allow you to change your engage/disengage points...but it needs to be a double or triple hook quad..and DO NOT waste your money on an adj cable

Yeah, well if anything goes wrong, the shop will cover it. I must've spoken too soon. I had the mechanic drive it, and he said it just needed to seat and go through its breakin procedure. He drove it for a few minutes and now the engagement point is right on the floor, no slippage. Just good shifting.

Is it me, or is there less drivetrain loss with an aftermarket clutch? The car seems to accelerate and rev quicker, and be putting more power down?
