Default SNIPER tuning for a supercharger (AFR)

First off,
I have had my SC on the car for about a week and a half with the stock sniper tune adjusted for the supercharger, 42lb injectors, etc.... It runs fine. I have a wideband on it now and would like to get it more finely tuned.

When warm at idle the wideband shows between 14.5-15.3, at cruise it is around 14.5, and at WOT it goes down to about 10.2 when at full boost (10psi). My question is What is the ideal range for it to be reading? Do I need to richen or lean?

should it be 11.5 no matter what? Are you saying that I need to lean out the idle and richen the WOT?

No only 11.5:1 at wide open throttle. Don't touch your "Global Fuel Modifier PT" because your idle and part throttle seems really good.

First I would go to the low, mid, and high RPM fuel modifier and lean it out. If you need to go back and lean it even more after driving, remember that special forces doesn't save changes you make on the fuel and timing window.

Also, be aware that the SF manual incorrectly documents the PT and FT Global Fuel Modifiers (they are backwards)--this is made more confusing by the "+ to Lean" and "- to Richen" labels in SF, which have nothing to do with the selections.

Selecting values of less than 1 for PT and FT Fuel Modifiers will lean the mix, values greater than 1 will richen it.

There's more info about this on my SFScrape Special Forces documenter page...

Yes you want to lean out the WOT/open loop. Make a wot run in 3rd gear.....with the car warmed up, get into 3rd gear and 2k rpm, floor it and run up to about 6k. Watch your afr and make mental notes (if you cannot log afr with rpm) of reading and rpm points.

Now, you can go and make adjusts to the tune, re-test. Your idle/cruise #s are fine.
