Hey guys, here's my situation, i bought my 04 GT like 3 weeks ago and it had a ding on the door, well i'm just now taking it back to get it fixed and they skrewed up the paint right there, well me and my dad go down there and they instantly recognize him, and are like ohh my gosh, i'm sorry i didn't realize this was your car... blah blah, like he's some high up member in the community </P>


well they are giving me 10 free oil changes, a free tank of gas anytime the car comes in and a free accessory (i.e. bra or somethign) I was wondering what frpp products that are any good for like the 300 dollar range (frpp is ford made stuff right?)
I dont want gears, but i was thinking like aluminum driveshaft or some other stuff. Thanks Guys</P>

$300 bucks, eh? I don't know about an aluminum driveshaft. That might be more.

I would get maybe some drilled steel foot petals (if you don't have em). They look good, trust me (my Mach 1 has em). You might have some money left over...I wouldn't do a bra, but maybe and alarm system?

Tough choices to make!

The driveshaft doesn't exactly give HP like exhaust, but it does help you get more to the ground? Is that correct? As well as lowering weight of vehicle?</P>


So does this like lower the ammount of power lost due to the drivetrain?

Well, no. The AL DS will do two things for you: 1) help you rev a little faster, NOT by helping you put more power down, but DUE to it's smaller turning radius it can spin faster; 2) It's about 6lbs lighter I believe, so that .6sec in a 1/4.

*L* all the alum driveshaft does is cut down on rotating mass and will rev just a tad faster can you feel it? I would save no..now maybe a alum flywheel but with that on a street car you lose rpm on the launch
set of 3:73 would be the ticket

You actually can feel the it spin up noticeably faster w/the smaller FRPP AL DS, but don't expect anything phenominal. It'll just be like..COOL, now for something else like say...a 4.10!!!

I think the drive shaft thing may be all in your head. You won't feel very much if any at all
